Base’s George Melo achieves MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution
We are proud to announce that our Associate Director, George Melo, has achieved an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College London. George has worked incredibly hard for the past two years, managing not only his studies but his work on numerous complex projects with Base. His dedication has resulted in a truly impressive distinction for his dissertation, which examines the differences between experts under English and Brazilian law.
Base Managing Director, Tom Taylor says:
George has had a key role in the most complex and demanding dispute work that we have been involved in over the last few years. He has completed the Masters’ degree course at King’s alongside that work and it is testament to his desire and commitment that he has succeeded at both. George is a fantastic asset to our clients, and he is esteemed within Base. I hope we have created an environment at Base where our staff can aspire to continually improve themselves, knowing that everyone else in the company is cheering them on. It is exciting that we are able to continue building a fantastic team around people like George, and that we can offer an increasingly high level of quality to our deserving clients.
